Double Deck Blackjack High Roller - Game Guide

Double Deck Blackjack High Roller rules aren’t any different than Single Deck Blackjack and Multi-hand Blackjack rules. The only real difference with Double Deck Blackjack High Roller is that the decks are doubled so that there are 104 cards as opposed to 52. The goal is still to get to 21 or to at least have a higher number than the dealer. Face cards count for 10, the Ace can be a 1 or 11, the dealer has to stand on 17 and the draw is to 16, and if you go over 21, you bust. You can also double on the 9, 10 and 11 in Double Deck Blackjack High Roller while you can only double on the 10 and 11 in Single Deck Blackjack.

The minimum bet in Double Deck Blackjack High Roller is $22 while the minimum is $1 in a regular game of Double Deck Blackjack.

Double Deck Blackjack High Roller - How to Play

As in Double Deck Blackjack, the goal is to reach 21 or get as close to 21 as possible without going over. The main difference with Double Deck Blackjack High Roller is that the decks are doubled so that there are 104 cards and not just 52.

You make at least the minimum bet, $20 dollar in Double Deck Blackjack High Roller, before any cards are dealt. The dealer’s first card is always dealt down while your first two cards for each hand are dealt up. Once you’ve received your two cards, you can Stand or Hit. If you hit, you get another card, and so on until you are satisfied with the number you’ve got, as close to 21 without going over.

If you go over 21, the dealer wins. If you’re closer to 21 than the dealer, you win. If you’re at exactly 21, you’ve hit a blackjack! If you get 21 off the draw, a natural 21 via your first two cards, not only do you win your bet, but you win a bonus amount on top of your bet!

Just like Double Deck Blackjack, you can also buy insurance in Double Deck Blackjack High Roller against the dealer having a natural 21 and you can split your hands.

Double Deck Blackjack High Roller - Bet Types

There is only one bet per hand in Double Deck Blackjack High Roller. You can make the minimum bet all the way up to the maximum bet before any cards are dealt unless you double down. You can double down, doubling your wager, $200 becomes $400, on the 9, 10 and 11 in Double Deck Blackjack High Roller.

Double Deck Blackjack High Roller - Minimum and Maximum Bet Amounts

The minimum bet in the online casino for Double Deck Blackjack High Roller is $20 per hand.

The maximum bet in the online casino for Double Deck Blackjack High Roller is $200 per hand.

Double Deck Blackjack High Roller – Payouts

You win what you bet. If you bet $200 per hand you win $400. If you win with a natural blackjack, you show exactly 21 on your first 2 cards, you win 3/2 on the hand. This is where the edge comes in play because in Single Deck Blackjack, a natural 21 only pays 6/5.

Double Deck Blackjack High Roller - Strategy/Tips

The dealer is going to have one card face down per hand. What this means is that you will have to strategize around the upcard, the card that you can see. If the dealer is showing a card higher than one of yours, you’ll want to hit. If the dealer shows a card lower than yours, you should consider staying and hope for a bust. See a couple of examples below:

Dealer’s upcard is a 5 and you have a Jack (10) and 8 - - Stay

Dealer’s upcard is a 9 and you have a Queen (10) and 4 - - Hit

In Double Deck Blackjack High Roller, the dealer has to stay at 17 and the draw is to 16. You can double down on a 9, 10 and 11. You have to stay after the third card is dealt on any doubles and you can’t re-split hands or double again once you’ve already doubled or split.
